Cedars Motel is a cute little place with friendly owners who are genuinely down to earth. Our Deluxe King Room was recently remodeled, super clean, and had all the charm we could ask for. We loved having a little campfire with s'mores on summer nights – it really made our stay special!
The bathroom still needs some updates.

Impeccably Clean Stay with a Personal Touch!
Spent two wonderful nights in a standard queen room. The owners are incredibly welcoming, especially Kathy, who made us feel right at home. The room was spotless and fresh—perfect for a restful getaway. Don't miss the nearby diner for a hearty breakfast to kickstart your day!

Checked in for one night in a snug little room. The location was spot on for our travels, perfect for a quick rest! It had that charming, nostalgic vibe that just warms the heart.
But darling, it's like stepping into a time machine—everything's a bit dated! The bathroom was tiny enough for a hobbit, I swear!

The stay was quite pleasant overall. We enjoyed the cozy feel of our room and appreciated how clean everything was. It was a short drive to many attractions like the Mackinac Bridge and nearby culture museums. Although the bathroom could use some updates and the layout was a bit awkward, the friendly staff made sure we were comfortable during our visit.

A cozy little spot with a fire pit for s'mores! The clean rooms and friendly vibe made our stay memorable. The nearby beach access was a plus for some fun in the sun.
Felt at ease, nothing too much trouble.

Great location near everything! The rooms were surprisingly quiet, and you can use it as a base for adventures, like Mackinac Island. Hanna was a delight and had fab suggestions for dinner.
The decor could use a serious upgrade—like, I was half expecting a magician to pop out of the closet! Overall, it's a solid choice if you're not too picky.

missingWrote a review on Jul 15window ac unitconvenient locationawkward layout
The Deluxe Queen Room features a new window AC unit, which is a nice upgrade over older models. The location offers easy access to sightseeing spots, making it convenient for a quick getaway.
The room layout felt awkward with only one chair facing the TV, limiting comfort for watching. The window unit's curtains covered the AC, leaving the top half of the window exposed, which may not offer enough privacy or darkness. The room overall seemed a bit dated and could use a refresh.

Super cute little motel with a charming remodel going on. Our room was fresh, comfy, and perfectly clean—loved the summer campfire with s'mores! Definitely a cozy, charming stay worth trying out for a getaway.
Just a heads-up about the bathroom—no outlet for my blow dryer! I felt like I was about to set my hair on fire with nowhere to plug it in.
